Manufacturing Laboratory

The manufacturing laboratory at the Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research is a service facility to support teaching and research. The main task of our research group is to develop and manufacture devices, components, fixtures and complete systems that are not available on the open market. For this purpose we work very closely with scientists, laboratory engineers and students. Our services apply without restrictions to all departments and working groups at the Otto Schott Institute for Materials Research and the Institute of Geography. In addition, in individual cases we can also process orders from other institutions of the Friedrich Schiller University.
